The teenage years are a time when adolescents are preparing to discover what role they should play in society as social newborns. They deal with the anticipation and mood swings brought on by hormonal changes, physical development, and shifts in brain structure. So, how can we support adolescents in understanding the intricacies of the adult world, including social organisation, work ethics, future family dynamics, and economic independence?
Our solution lies in the Montessori Secondary "Erdkinder Environment" – an integral part of Chisel's "Chirpi" program which will be launched in the year of 2024. This unique farm school, situated in Thennangur, Vandavasi, serves as a residential space where students can engage in both academic studies and practical work.
